ABAVAS is more than just a production site; it is a family story. The company was founded by Mārtiņš Barkāns and his son Niklass, a certified winemaker whose red wine Rondo was awarded a Decanter Bronze Medal in 2024.

With 15 years of experience in the beverage industry, we opened our new state-of-the-art production facility in late 2023. It was designed for efficiency, sustainability, and flexibility, with a production capacity of up to 3 million units per year.

Our winery is located in the middle of apple orchards in Tukums district, Latvia. This natural environment reflects our philosophy: close to the land, close to the consumer. Being situated in the Baltics, we are ideally positioned for efficient logistics across Northern Europe.
